Establishing a Good Contact Lens Fit
Fitting lenses to your lifestyle
We will determine the best fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs and the shape and health of your eye. In most cases, you’ll have the opportunity to try lenses on the same day as your exam. You can even go home with a few samples before making a final decision. Our go-to lenses are NovaKone for cornea ectasias, CRT for myopia control. For high prescriptions, we use our custom lenses that come in toric and multifocal as well. We can fit just about anyone in a contact lens.
Follow up fittings
We follow up the initial fitting and then make any necessary changes in fit or materials to get you the best possible fit. We teach all our patients proper contact lens care and also possible consequences if proper care is not taken. Then we continue with long-term follow-up to monitor the condition of the lenses and to ensure that proper hygiene is being maintained.

Miru 1day Menicon Flat Pack

Taking its name from the Japanese verb that means "to see," 1day Miru is here with a visionary range of new Good Start products to help you have another Good Day.
The Miru 1day Menicon Flat Pack was specifically developed to reduce the chance of lens inner surface contamination. When the pack is opened, the outer surface of the lens always faces up. This eliminates confusion about lens orientation and reduces the need to touch the inner surface of the lens, making it less likely that skin oil or harmful microorganisms will get trapped between the lens and the wearer's eye.
Fibre contamination of lens surface
Even after thorough hand washing, fibres from towels used to dry the hands are a potential source of lens contamination. If a fibre adheres to the inner surface of the lens, tears alone are often unable to flush it out, resulting in lens discomfort and eye irritation. With 1day Miru lenses, such contamination is more likely to be limited to the outer surface, where fibres can be readily dislodged by blinking.
Simulated microbial contamination
Microbial contamination was simulated by "contaminating" fingers with microbe-size fluorescent beads before removing lenses from the package, and then taking fluorescence microscope photos of the central portion of each type of lens.
When removed from their package as directed, 1day Miru lenses require less handling, reducing the risk of microbial contamination.

Areas Of Use
- NovaKone soft lenses for keratoconus are indicated for visual correction for patients with keratoconus.

CRT, or Corneal Refractive Therapy, is a non-surgical option that helps correct nearsightedness without the daytime use of contacts or glasses. CRT lenses are worn at night, and correct the curvature of the cornea while sleeping so you can see clearly during the day.
When worn overnight, Paragon CRT® contact lenses gently corrects the curvature of the cornea, resulting in a corneal shape that focuses light correctly onto the retina. When removed in the morning, distant objects will come back into focus and patients can see clearly without the use of glasses or daytime contacts.
